‘Conscious’ Rap That Isn’t
Whodini!!!
Man I grew up on some Whodini…my Pops liked it so he let me rock it from an early age. I learned the words to “One Love”, “Freaks Come Out At Night”, and “Friends” before I could tie my shoes up good. Check out the video for “One Love” from way back.
Guilty Pleasures Vol. 1
Man, I, like many others, have some guilty pleasures in life. Here are a few of my latest ones.
Sounds good in my whip, which is why I like it…nevermind the rapping or whatever you wanna call this.
Seriously, I have two 12″s in my car…so sometimes, I just like to stunt.
Man, I know very little about selling coke but Rick Ross makes it sound like it may be fun…and I don’t like the video cuz I don’t wanna see his oversized body.
The first T-Pain joint that I heard whilst in the club in Tampa, Florida. And I still like the song, so sue me.
Flashing Lights Version Two
In honor of ADK’s trip to the Glow In The Dark Tour in Chicago at the United Center on Madison West Side Chitown sold out (best concert of my life true story), I figured I’d throw something up that’s related to the experience.
Cee-Lo Green
Cee-Lo been the man since Soul Food and if you don’t know what album I’m talking about please go find out right now. For the record, he is my favorite member of Goodie Mob but ain’t NOBODY like Khujo. Funny, Jeff James the Ghost and I always referred to Goodie Mob as “dirty South Wu-Tang” and Cee-Lo agrees. Check the article, it’s long but reads well and is introspective.

Pamoja

It is critical that I share with you what ADK is doing worldwide. Merc, another International Representative of ADK, is live from Malawi for a nice minute here in 2008. He is truly a warrior for the cause and he’s living ebony & ivory in Malawi. Stay up with him and his experiences in Mother Africa. Stay up and be peace.
Kinetik
As I listen to Small Eyez “Do.The.Bright.Thing” on repeat, I started thinking about the excerpt from the Spike Lee joint Do The Right Thing and man…what a great movie. Go BUY it if you ain’t seen it or something, get hip to Spike Lee period (stay tuned for more about Spike, I’m sleepy right now so I ain’t finna get all into all that tonight). Peep the visuals.
